Visiting Researcher from PIK
We welcome Darius Sultani as a visiting researcher at EPG/CFP for the month of March 2024.
We are pleased to welcome external pageDarius Sultani as visiting researcher at EPG/CFP for the whole month of March 2024. During his time in Zurich, he will work on joint projects with our PhD researchers Katrin Sievert (on CDR in the EU) and Paul Tautorat (on industry decarbonisation).
Darius is a doctoral researcher at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) in Germany. His research focuses on policy instruments to decarbonise the European basic materials industry, as well as the integration of Carbon Dioxide Removals into the EU policy mix. Before his PhD, he graduated with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Technology Policy, and he gained policy experience at the European Commission and the German Federal Government.
