Alyssa Gunnemann joined the Climate Finance and Policy Group (CFP) and the Energy and Technology Policy Group (EPG) in March 2024. Funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, her research focuses on the financing of Germany's energy transition in the form of the external pageARIADNEcall_made project.
Alyssa holds a Master's degree in Economic Research from the external pageUniversity of Colognecall_made with a focus on econometrics and innovation economics. In cooperation with external pageVytalcall_made, she studied the platform dynamics of a circular start-up. During her studies she worked as a research assistant at the external pageWuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energycall_made. Here she co-authored studies on the intersection of sustainability and digital transformation. As part of CO:DINA, she contributed to research on digital-ecological governance. She has also gained professional experience in consulting, ranging from the public sector at external pageAccenturecall_made to the financial sector at external pageHorn & Companycall_made, the automotive sector at external pageVolkswagen Consultingcall_made and the telecommunications sector at external pageTelekom Strategy Consultingcall_made.
In her spare time, she loves to go on adventures, be it trying new sports, exploring new places or meeting new people.
